Univenture Reports 50% Profit Growth in the First Half of the Year

Univenture Public Company Limited (UV) has announced its financial results for the first half of the year (October 1, 2020 – March 31, 2021), reporting a net profit of 90.3 million baht, with total revenue of 1,913.8 million baht.

 

Mr. Kampol Poonsonnee, the Chief Executive Officer of Univenture Public Company Limited (UV), stated that in the first half of the year, the company achieved a profit growth of over 50%. For the fiscal year 2021 (October 1, 2020 – March 31, 2021), the company reported total revenue of 1,913.8 million baht, primarily derived from real estate sales amounting to 913.3 million baht, which accounts for 48% of total revenue. Revenue from zinc oxide business was 681.3 million baht, representing 36% of total revenue, and revenue from real estate-related businesses and other income was approximately 319.2 million baht, making up 16% of total revenue.

 

"This year, the company continues to focus on sourcing investments in high-potential business sectors, both through direct investments and joint ventures with partners who possess expertise and experience in the relevant business areas. This is aligned with the company's three strategic pillars: sourcing investments to balance the company's Investment Portfolio (ENABLE), developing expertise and enhancing the value of invested businesses to generate continuous income and returns (COMMIT), and ensuring long-term sustainability of business operations (ACCOMPLISH). The company has a strong financial structure and is ready to adjust its investment balance to achieve the goals of these strategies within the next three years,"Mr. Kampol added.

Currently, the company has a backlog of sales expected to be recognized as revenue in 2021-2022, amounting to approximately 3,000 million baht.
