Resulting in Overwhelming Demand for 3-Year Bonds at a Fixed Interest Rate of 3.35%
Lalin Property Public Company Limited (LALIN), a company that has been developing real estate for over 34 years, has consistently expanded at a rate higher than the overall market in the past six years. Despite significant investments in business expansion, the company has maintained good financial risk management with a strong financial position, reflected in a debt-to-equity (D/E) ratio of only 0.67, while the industry average is around 1.4.
Mr. Churachart Chakrakul, Managing Director of Lalin Property Public Company Limited, revealed that the company successfully offered 3-year bonds at a fixed interest rate of 3.35% through Thai Military Bank Public Company Limited and Phatra Securities Public Company Limited, with Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited acting as the bondholder representative. The total offering amount was 550 million baht, and as usual, the response from investors was positive, with both institutional and major investors showing interest in subscribing more than double the offering amount.
Earlier in March, the company had existing bonds maturing worth 500 million baht, which the company had already repaid using its liquidity. As of the end of 2020, the company's balance sheet showed cash reserves of approximately 1,050 million baht and shareholders' equity of about 7,500 million baht, with a low debt-to-equity (D/E) ratio of only 0.67. The Net D/E Ratio stands at a low level of just 0.31, while the company reported a 24% growth in revenue and a 50% increase in net profit in 2020, reflecting its operational capability and financial strength.
For this bond offering, the company has issued 3-year bonds at a fixed interest rate of 3.35%, with a total offering amount of 550 million baht, aimed at enhancing liquidity for business expansion after previously repaying the maturing bonds worth 500 million baht.
