Mr. Uthai Uthaisangsuak, Chief Executive Officer of Sansiri Public Company Limited stated that regarding the overview of Sansiri Tree Day Year 2, while the world is facing the COVID-19 pandemic, the environmental crisis has not disappeared. Sustainable solutions can only be achieved if everyone takes action together. Last year, we launched the Sansiri Tree Day campaign, planting 'one' to reach 'one hundred thousand' for the first time, gathering over 10,000 Sansiri families, including residents and employees, to plant saplings in common areas across 70 Sansiri projects and at the precast concrete factory (PCF). This year, Sansiri aims to contribute to a sustainable environment and a livable world, continuing the Sansiri Sustainability mission by inviting residents and Thais to plant one tree each to reach a total of one hundred thousand trees for the second year, while sparking creative ideas to increase green spaces in homes and condos, creating a joyful Work from Home experience that benefits both the world and ourselves with 'Sansiri Tree Day Year 2', along with fun activities throughout January.

“During the COVID-19 situation in 2020, tree planting was one of the top activities, with a popularity rate of 62.98%, according to an online survey of 1,242 people regarding activities that the public enjoyed doing at home during the COVID-19 outbreak from May 5-8, 2020, conducted by Suan Dusit Poll, Dusit Thani University. Not only does planting trees help filter air and absorb pollution for a sustainable world, but it also reduces stress, creates a better environment, and establishes a happy space at home, especially as many people return to Work from Home again due to the new wave of COVID-19,” Mr. Uthai added.
