Origin Achieves Record Sales in April, Continuing to Enhance Online Real Estate Experience
"Origin Property" announced that in April 2020, it achieved sales exceeding 1.7 billion baht, setting a new high for the month. The strategy of Online-Merge-Offline for selling houses and condos through LINE OA, Lazada, and Shopee has made it easier for consumers to access properties, continuing to create a Full Services of Online Journey while adapting to the COVID-19 situation.
Mr. Pirapong Jarunek, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), a comprehensive real estate developer, revealed that in April, the company generated sales of over 1.7 billion baht, marking the highest sales ever recorded for the month of April (New High). This includes over 1.1 billion baht from condominium projects and over 600 million baht from the housing segment.
“Typically, April is not a month that real estate operators expect much from due to the numerous holidays, leading consumers to spend on other matters. Operators also find it challenging to organize sales events. However, this year’s COVID-19 situation has caused consumers to prioritize essential spending. The record sales reflect that consumers still choose to invest in housing, which is a basic necessity. We have been able to adapt quickly to help consumers access housing more easily,” Mr. Pirapong stated.
In April, Origin adopted the Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) strategy, seamlessly integrating online and offline sales. The company’s residential projects were made available on online platforms such as LINE Official Account (LINE OA) under the names @Origin Property and @PARK LUXURY, Lazada, and Shopee. They also launched the campaign “Always Online,” allowing consumers to reserve condos from 15 projects for just 1,999 baht. Additionally, all experiences from information gathering, booking, contract signing, room inspections, to ownership transfers were made available online. This strategy is believed to be a key factor in achieving the record sales in April.
Mr. Pirapong further stated that throughout the second quarter of 2020, the company will remain committed to developing comprehensive online services to provide a Full Services of Online Journey that meets the new normal behaviors of consumers. They will closely monitor various situations to be prepared for any circumstances, ensuring happiness, safety, and confidence for consumers.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 situation, Origin Property has implemented both proactive and responsive measures to assist society and over 20,000 Origin families. This includes donating money and medical supplies worth over 1 million baht to various hospitals, implementing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in project areas, collaborating with Samitivej Hospital to integrate the Samitivej Virtual Hospital system with the Origin Connect application, allowing residents to consult doctors online 24 hours a day, and partnering with well-known restaurant chains to provide services to residents at various projects, as well as offering COVID-19 disinfection services.
Additionally, the company has measures in place to care for potential new residents, including enhancing online platforms for comprehensive transactions and organizing Private Visits to facilitate those who need to visit the project sales offices.
