Krung Thai Invites Businesses to Link PromptPay Online, Tax Payments Without Fees Now Available
Mr. Phayong Srivanich, the President of Krung Thai Bank, announced that the Revenue Department has a policy to improve the process of corporate income tax refunds through the PromptPay system to enhance digital service delivery. Starting from May 1, Krung Thai Bank has developed a channel for businesses to apply for and link their PromptPay accounts via Krungthai Corporate Online to facilitate business customers with an easy, convenient, and quick application process.
All that is needed is a 13-digit corporate registration number and a Krung Thai Bank account number. For businesses that have not yet activated Krungthai Corporate Online, they can submit the necessary documents at any Krung Thai Bank branch. Business customers are encouraged to use PromptPay for receiving tax refunds, allowing funds to be deposited directly into their accounts. This will make financial transactions much more convenient and agile, whether transferring money between individuals and corporations or between corporations themselves.
They can use the 13-digit corporate registration number instead of a bank account number. Additionally, to ensure customer safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, Krung Thai Bank has partnered with the Revenue Department to facilitate corporate customers in paying taxes electronically through the bank's channels without transaction fees, including the Krungthai NEXT app, Krungthai Corporate Online, and ATM/ADM machines, available anytime and anywhere without needing to visit a bank branch.
Business customers interested in applying for the corporate PromptPay service can inquire for details at any Krung Thai Bank branch
