The Ch. Karnchang Group has teamed up with leading business partners to provide assistance and support to healthcare and medical personnel in the fight against COVID-19. This includes financial donations for the purchase of medical equipment, providing COVID-19 insurance for 50,000 doctors, nurses, and medical staff, as well as mobilizing employee volunteers to produce face shields for medical personnel to use in their duties.

Dr. Supamas Treeviswawet, the Managing Director of Ch. Karnchang Public Company Limited, stated, "Ch. Karnchang is well aware that combating and addressing the crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is threatening the world, requires active cooperation from all sectors of society and the nation. As an organization committed to improving the quality of life for people and developing the country, we are ready to be part of the effort to support medical and healthcare personnel, who are the frontline warriors in this battle against the pandemic. This includes financial support, collaboration with business partners, and mobilizing our employees' efforts in volunteer activities, so that Thailand can overcome this crisis and emerge stronger as soon as possible."


Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Thailand, Ch. Karnchang, along with its affiliated companies, including Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) and TTW Public Company Limited (TTW), has contributed funds for the purchase of protective equipment to reduce the risk of infection for medical personnel, as well as equipment for treating infected patients. To date, donations have been made to Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross, totaling 1,000,000 baht, and to the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, totaling 5,000,000 baht. Additionally, in collaboration with three private companies, including Buriram United Club, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation, and Energy Absolute Public Company Limited, they have jointly provided COVID-19 insurance from Muang Thai Insurance Public Company Limited for 50,000 medical personnel, with a total insurance coverage of 26,000,000,000 baht.

Ch. Karnchang has also invited employees to participate in volunteer activities to produce face shields for doctors, nurses, and medical personnel across the country. Initially, 1,500 pieces will be sent to general hospitals nationwide, including the Radiological Technologists Association of Thailand, the Department of Radiological Technology, Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University, Katuam Ban Hospital in Samut Sakhon, Pichit Hospital in Pichit, Ban Sang Hospital in Prachinburi, Nakhon Nayok Hospital in Nakhon Nayok, and Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Center, MSU, Ongkharak in Nakhon Nayok, as well as Bang Len Hospital in Nakhon Pathom, with the hope that the power of cooperation will help us overcome this crisis together.
