Sansiri Care: Because We Care - Elevating Comprehensive Care for Residents, Customers, Employees, and Partners to Combat Covid-19
Sansiri collaborates with Plus Property to implement measures to address the outbreak of the novel coronavirus 2019, or Covid-19. Emphasizing the safety and hygiene of residents, customers, employees, and partners is of utmost importance. A dedicated team has been established to closely monitor the outbreak situation and announce policies to prepare for prevention and surveillance of Covid-19. The initiative, titled "Sansiri Care: Because We Care," enhances comprehensive measures for care, protection, cleanliness, and convenience, while adapting work methods to a Work from Home model to promote social distancing, reduce risks, and ensure safety for employees, fulfilling our social responsibility. These measures are effective immediately.
Mr. Apichart Jootrakul, Chairman of Sansiri Public Company Limited, stated that due to the increasing outbreak of the novel coronavirus 2019, or Covid-19, Sansiri has partnered with Plus Property Co., Ltd. to prepare for the situation. We are elevating comprehensive care measures for residents, employees, and partners because their safety and hygiene are our top priority. Furthermore, we are committed to social responsibility, which is a principle that Sansiri has always upheld. Sansiri and Plus have implemented the highest level of measures to care for and protect residents, employees, and partners, covering cleanliness, convenience, and preparedness. All Sansiri projects nationwide, including our Siri Campus, are strictly following these measures to closely care for all residents and employees. Sansiri and Plus Property have jointly established measures to care for residents, employees, and partners as follows:
Response Measures: We have arranged care measures for customers who are quarantined for 14 days in their residences, allowing them to live safely and conveniently without needing to leave their homes. This includes facilitating food delivery to residents' doors at two times a day, morning and evening, as well as grocery shopping or other deliveries. Residents will also be reminded to undergo another health check after the 14-day quarantine period. If residents wish to see a doctor, we will assist them at every step, from managing the elevator to cleaning it immediately after use, and we will collect waste for residents twice a day to reduce their risk. Additionally, we have created a self-care manual for residents in the form of QR code information for easy access.
Care Measures: We focus on facilitating residents by enhancing our services, including cleaning, health care, and convenience in ordering products from the Sansiri Family through the Home Service Application. Residents can also consult doctors from Samitivej Hospital via Virtual Hospital for free, as well as access disinfection spraying services and prepare consumables tailored to residents' needs. Vending machines at each project will offer only essential items such as instant noodles, rice, hand sanitizer, canned fish, milk, etc.
Prevention Measures: Sansiri has elevated cleanliness standards across projects, sales offices, and our new home, Siri Campus, by regularly spraying disinfectants and cleaning common areas every 1-2 hours. We also distribute face masks and place hand sanitizers in common areas for screening patients by measuring temperatures. We have begun implementing these measures for both residents and employees who need to perform their duties, emphasizing the importance of wearing masks and handwashing before providing services. Additionally, we have increased cleanliness during the inspection and handover of units, and Sansiri and Plus Property have been continuously implementing these measures.
“In addition to measures for caring for residents, Sansiri also considers the safety of employees and partners, which is a core principle in our operations. We have implemented Work From Home measures to promote social distancing, reduce risks, enhance safety for employees, and fulfill our social responsibility. These measures have been put into effect immediately. We have also established a special task force to provide information to employees and partners and to assist them if they have any questions or concerns regarding the outbreak. Every employee and partner is vital to driving our organization, and we have always valued them. We sincerely hope that these measures will extend to the community to help combat the Covid-19 outbreak,” Mr. Apichart stated.
