SENA Announces Strict Measures 'SENA ZERO COVID' Launching 'Work From Home' Platform
SENA has announced strict measures under the 'SENA ZERO COVID' initiative, launching the 'Work From Home' platform starting March 24. This is in response to the strategy of 'Social Distancing' to enhance social distance for the safety of employees – conducting meetings online to combat the COVID-19 virus as the outbreak rapidly spreads... reinforcing the message 'We will fight together until we achieve ZERO COVID.'
The situation regarding the COVID-19 outbreak is worsening daily, impacting not only the health of the public with increasing infection rates every hour but also shaking the global economy and businesses across all sectors. The overall economic and business landscape in Thailand is facing pressure from all sides, particularly the real estate sector, which is a 'value chain' for the economy, causing disruptions and a lack of income to sustain operations. This necessitates adaptation to the current situation, and it is clear that the COVID-19 crisis will not end soon, making it difficult for the Thai economy to recover and grow rapidly in 2020. Meanwhile, businesses must survive under these circumstances, requiring operators to adapt and prepare contingency plans for the future.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kesara Thanyalakphak, Deputy CEO of Sena Development Public Company Limited, recently (March 23, 2020) announced the 'SENA ZERO COVID' policy to address the emergency situation, implementing the 'Work From Home' measure in line with government policies on 'Social Distance' or 'Social Distancing' to ensure employee safety by working from home, increasing social distance, and reducing the risk of virus transmission from the COVID-19 outbreak, which poses a high risk and impacts the company and employees. The initial measures outline a Hybrid work from home approach, dividing employees to work on-site only as necessary, with each department splitting teams to alternate working from home, starting from March 24, 2020, to April 12, 2020 (or subject to further announcements).
In addition to the 'Work from Home' measures, the company also has a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) operation center to communicate and monitor the COVID-19 outbreak situation, keeping employees informed, ensuring their health and safety, and monitoring and inquiring about the health of employees at risk of COVID-19 infection. Furthermore, COVID-19 insurance has been purchased for all employees.
