Grand Unity Navigates COVID-19 Crisis with Online Condo Sales Strategy and Video Calls in Response to Government Policy
Grand Unity is taking action against the COVID-19 crisis with its online platform “Online Booking: Easy Booking Every Day”, allowing customers to shop for quality condos and secure beautiful units at special prices through the website www.grandunity.co.th. Customers can also tour projects via video calls as if they were visiting in person, following the temporary closure of sales offices from March 23-27, 2020, or until further notice, in response to the government's Social Distancing policy and the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
Mr. Patthawin Wongsathian, Senior Director of Marketing and Sales at Grand Unity Development Co., Ltd., stated that the company recognizes the escalating COVID-19 situation in Thailand and is responding to the government's Social Distancing policy. The company has adopted a marketing strategy through online sales and services, allowing customers interested in owning a Grand Unity project to contact and make purchases online through “Online Booking: Easy Booking Every Day” at www.grandunity.co.th. Despite the temporary closure of sales offices from March 23-27, 2020, or until further notice, the staff continues to provide services daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Customers can schedule visits to projects and request tours via video calls, reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission and helping to prevent further outbreaks.
“We have also organized special promotions for customers interested in booking projects from Grand Unity across all 12 projects, with different promotions tailored to meet the needs of each project, including Anil Sathorn 12, Massarin Ratchayothin, Kara Ari – Rama 6, The Private Residence Rajdamri, De La Peace Charan 81, Ciela Sripatum, Ciela Charan 13 Station, Ciela Charoennakorn, Denim Chatuchak, U Delight Residence Riverfront Rama 3, U Delight Rattanathibet, and U Kaset – Nawamin,”
In addition, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as declared by the Ministry of Public Health and the Royal Gazette, the company has elevated its COVID-19 prevention measures. This includes enhanced screening and prevention protocols for all employees at the headquarters, sales offices, and construction sites. The company has also developed and rehearsed a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) to mitigate potential outbreaks from person-to-person contact. Furthermore, the company supports the disinfection of common areas in projects developed by Grand Unity under the GRAND UNITY FAMILY. The COVID-19 prevention measures are divided into three main parts:
Screening: Starting February 16, all employees at the headquarters, construction contractors, sales staff, and project contractors must report their health status and work from home for 14 days if they have traveled to high-risk countries. Anyone showing symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, or difficulty breathing must see a doctor immediately. Body temperature will be checked daily before work, and anyone with a temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius must see a doctor immediately.
Prevention: The company promotes the wearing of face masks by everyone at all times during work. Hand sanitizers are placed at various points, especially at entrances and exits of the headquarters, sales offices, and construction sites. Communication regarding the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and emergency procedures ensures that all employees and stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities. Sales staff are required to wear face masks while working, and customers visiting sales offices are requested to wear masks as well. The use of technology, such as video calls, is emphasized to protect the health of employees and customers visiting the projects.
Care: The frequency of cleaning contact points at the headquarters, construction sites, and sales offices is increased, especially in customer reception areas, every hour to instill confidence in customers visiting the sales offices. Disinfection with cleaning agents is also conducted at both the headquarters and all sales offices, and employees are encouraged to use technology in collaboration with partners through video conferencing.
