LPN has taken immediate action by implementing a Work from Home policy to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection following a rapid increase in cases recently. The company has prepared a response plan and established a task force to ensure employees can work from home smoothly, collaborating in a 360-degree manner and providing uninterrupted service to customers. Emphasis is placed on the need for quick and accurate communication during this crisis.

Mr. Opas Sripakdi, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of LPN Development Public Company Limited (LPN), stated, “Given the global outbreak of COVID-19 and the rapid increase in cases in Thailand recently, LPN has been closely monitoring the situation and has prepared a Work from Home measure to allow employees to work from home, reducing congestion and the risk of transmission. The company has officially kicked off this measure, starting yesterday (March 17, 2020), reducing the number of employees at the headquarters to 50%, alternating with those working from home. The company is well-prepared in terms of operational systems, utilizing information technology for smooth communication and meetings, and providing work equipment to ensure continuous operations. Meanwhile, sales offices and legal entities in various projects will continue to operate as usual, with plans in place for emergencies.”

“The 50% Work from Home measure is part of the company’s preparedness in case Thailand enters the third phase of COVID-19 infection and needs to close all offices. This ensures that customers can be confident that LPN will continue to operate without interruption and will provide the best possible service. Regarding employee care, in addition to the Work from Home policy that reduces infection risk, LPN has also canceled the fingerprint scanning system that may pose a risk of infection and has disinfected the headquarters. Furthermore, there is a monitoring and support system in place for employees who contract COVID-19, and COVID-19 insurance has been purchased for employees working on various projects,” Mr. Opas concluded.

Previously, the company invited speakers from the Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, to train employees and affiliated companies on self-care and procedures to follow if an employee or co-owner in various projects contracts COVID-19. Therefore, LPN is fully prepared for the current situation.
