“TREA TOUR 2019 (AGING CENTER & SMART CITY)” in Japan from September 24 to October 1, 2019

We invite everyone to experience the wonders of innovation and modern technology while visiting significant places in Japan. Target group limited to only 40 participants (1 bus). Early booking is encouraged for priority. The program summary is as follows:

  • Tour Panasonic Center
  • Visit Fujisawa Elderly Care Center and Wakatake no Mori
  • Explore Yokohama and Toyota Smart City
  • Visit Santory Brewery
  • Toyota Museum
  • Pick fresh fruits from the orchard
  • Visit Nagoya Castle
  • Experience Mikimoto Pearl Island (ladies will surely enjoy shopping)
  • Taste famous Japanese cuisine at Ramen Museum, Rokkasen, fresh seafood, and abalone in Ise
  • Stay in Tokyo in the heart of Ginza & provincial areas at an Onsen hotel for 2 people
  • Shop at the largest outlet mall in Japan before returning home

Travel Schedule: From September 24 – October 1, 2019

Day 1: September 24, 2019 (Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport) – Narita (Narita Airport))

04:30 AM          Gather at Suvarnabhumi Airport for international passengers, where our staff will welcome you and assist with luggage check-in.

07:35 AM       Depart for Japan on Thai Airways flight TG 676.

Note      Check-in counter closes at least 60 minutes before departure. Passengers should be at the boarding gate 30 minutes before departure.

15:30 PM        Arrive at Narita International Airport, Japan. After completing immigration and baggage claim, we will proceed to dinner.

Dinner          Enjoy dinner at NABEZOE BUFFET SHABU with unlimited pork, beef, chicken + soft drinks.

Accommodation          Check-in at HOTEL MONTEREY GINZA.

Day 2: September 25, 2019        (TOYOSU FISH MARKET - Visit HCR & PANASONIC)

07:30 AM       Visit TOYOSU FISH MARKET (30 minutes travel time).

           Breakfast is at your leisure.

10:00 AM        Visit H.C.R. (TOKYO BIG SIGHT) with PANASONIC AGE FREE participating (10 minutes travel time).

Lunch          Lunch is at your leisure.

16:30-18:00 PM         Meet at PANASONIC CENTER TOKYO (ODAIBA) (about a 10-minute walk from BIG SIGHT) + view the PANASONIC WONDER LIFE BOX showcasing innovations for living from 2020-2030 (access restricted to business clients only). Inside, you will find various new innovations such as:

Afternoon                 15:30-17:30 PM  FUJISAWA WELLNESS SQUARE (for the elderly) divided into 2 groups of about 20 participants each (1 hour travel time).

Dinner                     Enjoy dinner at YAKINIKU KING BUFFET with unlimited pork, beef, chicken + soft drinks.

Accommodation         Check-in at NEW OTANI INN YOKOHAMA PREMIUM 5 STAR OR SML (20 minutes travel time).

Day 4: September 27, 2019   (MINATO MIRAI - WAKATAKE NO-MORI - SANTORY MUSASHINO FACTORY)

Morning      Breakfast at the hotel.

09:00-11:00 AM         Visit “MINATO MIRAI” (MM21) the 21st-century port project.

11:00-12:00 PM        Lunch at the Ramen Museum (with many award-winning ramen options).

12:00-14:00 PM         Visit “WAKATAKE NO-MORI” an award-winning elderly care facility GOOD DESIGN GOLD AWARD 2015 led by Ms. Sara Chongbunyat.

15:00 PM                    Visit SANTORY MUSASHINO FACTORY (BEER FACTORY) (1 hour travel time).

Dinner                     Enjoy dinner at the hotel (BUFFET AT FUJI MUTSUZONO + KING CRAB).

Day 5: September 28, 2019          (HAMAMATSU FRUIT PARK TOKINOSUMIKA – Nagoya Castle)

Morning                   Breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 AM       Depart for Hamamatsu Fruit Park HAMAMATSU FRUIT PARK TOKINOSUMIKA (2 hours travel time).

The Hamamatsu Fruit Park Tokinosumika is a tourist fruit park located in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, where you can enjoy seasonal fruits such as peaches, apples, and more. The highlight of this park is the strawberry-picking activity available from mid-December to the end of May (1-hour buffet).

Lunch          Lunch at the restaurant (JAPAN SET).

Afternoon         Depart for Nagoya Castle (2 hours travel time), another important landmark in Nagoya that you must visit. Although some structures have been reinforced, the ancient atmosphere is well preserved, with gardens, museums, and beautiful nature spots to enjoy.

Dinner           Enjoy dinner at KANIDOURAKU - NAGOMI SET.

Accommodation         Check-in at HOTEL JAL CITY NAGOYA NISHIKI (20 minutes travel time).

Day 6: September 29, 2019  (TOYOTA SMART CITY & TOYOTA MUSEUM - Ise Shrine)

Morning       Breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

09:00-11:00 AM         Visit TOYOTA SMART CITY and TOYOTA MUSEUM.

Lunch            Lunch at the restaurant (JAPAN SET).

Afternoon             Depart for Ise Shrine ISE JINGU SHRINES (2 hours travel time), located in a forest of centuries-old cedar trees in Ise, Mie Prefecture. It is one of the most sacred and mysterious places in the region, being a Shinto shrine over 2,000 years old. It is believed that the Japanese imperial family descends directly from the sun goddess Amaterasu, enshrined here. Every 20 years, the shrine is reconstructed to maintain its original form, passing down the knowledge and skills of craftsmen to the next generation. The shrine alternates between two sites every 20 years, ensuring visitors always see it in pristine condition. During the Edo period, one in five Japanese people visited Ise Shrine, and the faith in this shrine continues to this day.

Day 7: September 30, 2019   (MIKIMOTO PEARL ISLAND - Pearl Museum - JAZZ DREAM OUTLET)

Morning                 Breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

09:00 AM        Depart forMIKIMOTO PEARL ISLAND (20 minutes travel time), located in Ise-shima, south of Mie Prefecture. This island is renowned for its premium-grade pearls, considered the king of all pearls. It was the first place in the world to successfully cultivate pearls, initiated by Kokichi Mikimoto, who founded the pearl farm in 1888 due to the challenges of controlling the quality of natural pearls. His success led to his recognition as one of Japan's top 10 inventors in the 1930s, and his pearls gained international fame, even being used in the design of the Miss Universe crown.

Lunch            Lunch at the restaurant (Abalone or Seafood).

Shopping at JAZZ DREAM OUTLET  (1.5 hours travel time), featuring over 240 stores at MITSUI OUTLET PARK JAZZ DREAM NAGASHIMA, the largest outlet mall in Japan, located just 70 minutes from Chubu Centrair International Airport. JAZZ DREAM NAGASHIMA offers a musical atmosphere with attractive design elements such as musical notes, saxophones, pianos, and guitar-shaped clocks.

Dinner             Enjoy dinner at the MARRIOTT HOTEL (INTER BUFFET).

20:00 PM     Depart for Chubu Centrair Airport in Nagoya for check-in.

Day 8: October 1, 2019           Chubu Centrair Airport – Suvarnabhumi Airport (Bangkok)

00:30 AM           Depart for Bangkok on Thai Airways flight TG647.

05:10 AM           Arrive safely at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok, with wonderful memories.
