Sankyo Home (Thailand) collaborates with Japanese real estate giant 'Keihan Real Estate' to develop a luxury condominium project in Thailand called 'SYMYS Sukhumvit 61', valued at over 1.2 billion baht. The aim is to deliver Japanese standards and know-how to consumers in Thailand, highlighting the selling point 'The Hidden Gem' for privacy amidst Thonglor-Ekkamai, along with comprehensive facilities across 4 floors to meet the balance of lifestyle. Pre-sales will open on August 3-4, starting at 7.5 million baht, with plans for continuous development of new projects together.

Ms. Sopida Ongawa, Managing Director of Sankyo Home (Thailand) Co., Ltd., revealed that having married the founder of Sankyo Home Japan, a leading real estate developer in the Kansai region, and having lived in Japan for nearly 30 years, she has witnessed the excellent standards and know-how in developing Japanese-style residential projects. This inspired her to deliver these quality standards and know-how to Thai people, leading to the establishment of Sankyo Home (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a 100% Thai company utilizing expertise from Sankyo Home Japan, continuously developing various condominium projects in the Sukhumvit area since 2015.

Currently, the company is moving forward with the development of the third condominium project, which is a joint venture with Keihan Real Estate Co., Ltd., a real estate developer under the Keihan Group with over 100 years of history, owner of the Keihan Electric Railway connecting Osaka-Kyoto, among other businesses in the Kansai area. The project is named 'SYMYS Sukhumvit 61', a luxury condominium project with 7 floors, valued at over 1.2 billion baht, located in the prime area of Thonglor-Ekkamai.

“Both Sankyo Home and Keihan Real Estate share a common vision to deliver Japanese standards and know-how in residential development to Thai consumers, which is why we decided to collaborate on this second project. We have carefully selected suitable know-how to adapt and enhance it to meet the needs of Thai people,” said Ms. Sopida.

Mr. Yoshihiko Maeda, CEO of Keihan Real Estate Co., Ltd., stated that for sustainable growth, Keihan Group emphasizes expanding its business into international markets, especially in potential Asian markets, aiming for an overseas asset size of 50 billion yen (approximately 14.23 billion baht) by 2027. Currently, Keihan Real Estate plays a crucial role in advancing Keihan Group's investments abroad, with total investments in foreign businesses exceeding 3.3 billion yen (approximately 942 million baht), including residential projects in Thailand in collaboration with Sankyo Home (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and a golf villa project in Jakarta, Indonesia.

“Thailand is one of the most prominent countries in ASEAN, with various factors that stand out. The culture is similar to that of Japan, and there has been significant accumulated investment from Japanese companies. We have been long-term partners in developing quality residential projects with Sankyo Home in Japan, so we are confident in our joint venture with Sankyo Home (Thailand), which shares similar know-how and vision, to bring the attention to detail, craftsmanship, and premium standards of Japanese style to fulfill the dreams and hopes of Thai people for quality housing,” Mr. Yoshihiko added.

Mr. Worawit Saelee, Assistant Managing Director of Sankyo Home (Thailand) Co., Ltd., mentioned that the SYMYS Sukhumvit 61 project is located in Sukhumvit 61, a quiet and private alley recognized as a model community in Bangkok. It is situated in the prime area of Thonglor-Ekkamai, yet easily accessible to lifestyle venues, restaurants, shopping centers, and major transportation routes, and is close to the BTS, akin to a hidden diamond or 'The Hidden Gem' of the area. The building's interior design is crafted to resemble a polished diamond, which is unique and memorable.

We want SYMYS to be a residence that meets the balance of living, where one might be a high-level executive managing a large team and attending social events, yet also have a lifestyle that allows for personal relaxation and maximum privacy. Therefore, the project includes extensive facilities across 4 floors, with over 20 amenities to cater to the needs of this consumer group,” Mr. Worawit stated.
