Mr. Pirapong Jarunek, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited, also known as ORI the comprehensive real estate developer, revealed that in the second quarter of 2019 the company achieved outstanding sales of 7.29 billion baht, with total sales in the first half amounting to 13,000 billion baht, representing 46% of the annual target. The main reason for this success was the launch of two new projects in the second quarter:1. The Origin Ram 209 Interchange (The Origin Ram 209 Interchange), a project under the new brand "The Origin", and 2. Park Origin Chula-Samyan (PARK ORIGIN Chula-Samyan) which exceeded sales expectations.
"Most projects this year did not see high booking rates on pre-sale days, but at The Origin Ram 209 Interchange, consumers lined up from early morning, resulting in overwhelming sales of over 700 units, accounting for more than 70% or a value exceeding 1,300 million baht during the first pre-sale period. Meanwhile, the Park Origin Chula-Samyan project, although it has just opened for VVIP sales and has not officially launched pre-sales, has already achieved over 50% or a value exceeding 2,200 million baht. Both cases represent a phenomenon of the year that contrasts with market trends," said Mr. Pirapong.
It is expected that the excellent response is due to the potential of the locations of the projects, combined with various functions that meet consumers' lifestyles, and importantly, the trust and confidence consumers have in Origin Property.
At the same time, other projects that have already been launched continue to generate sales consistently.
Mr. Pirapong further stated that due to the volume of sales and the excellent consumer response, the company is confident in continuously launching new projects. In the third quarter of 2019 the company plans to launch approximately 6 new projects, including the Park Origin Ratchathewi project, Kensington District Rayong project, and three more projects under the "The Origin" brand in three potential locations: Ratchada, Ladprao, and Sukhumvit, as well as one housing project, Britannia Bangna-Suvarnabhumi, totaling project values exceeding 8,100 million baht.
"In the second half of this year, we still have many projects waiting to be launched across all segments, including condominiums and housing projects, as well as several campaigns ready to be introduced, starting with the "The Origin" brand, which will officially launch its brand concept along with marketing campaigns on July 11. We believe this will meet the housing needs of consumers at all levels and result in sales for 2019 reaching our target of 28,000 million baht," Mr. Pirapong stated.
