Bangkok (June 12, 2019) – Today marks the launch of the first project in Thailand by “Thomas Juul-Hansen,” a Danish designer known for designing the most expensive condominium project in New York, with the unveiling of the residential condominium project “Scope Langsuan,” situated on the most expensive freehold land sold in Thailand in 2018 at a price of 3.1 million baht per square wah. The show unit for “Scope Langsuan” will be available for viewing starting July 17, 2019, at the project site on Langsuan Road.
Thomas Juul-Hansen is the interior designer for the building ONE57, nicknamed “The Billionaire Building,” which is the most expensive residential building in New York as of January 2019, with residential sales totaling 3.14 billion baht (100.5 million USD). This building was also the tallest residential building in New York City when it was launched in 2014.
Mr. Yongyuth Chaipromprasit, an expert in innovation within the real estate development business with extensive experience, and CEO of Scope Company Limited, stated, “We are a new type of residential developer that breaks away from traditional residential development patterns, focusing on the design and construction of premium quality residences to international standards, specifically targeting a new generation of clients seeking residences with design and construction quality on par with the best in New York or London. Therefore, we collaborate with the best partners in the world.”

“Scope Langsuan sets a new standard, combining the highest international standards, world-class design, and one of the best locations in the heart of Bangkok on Langsuan Road.” Scope Langsuan consists of 158 residential units and 1 commercial unit in a 34-story building, just 170 meters from Chidlom BTS station, with an investment value of over 7.8 billion baht.”
Mr. Yongyuth mentioned that the company has invested an unprecedented amount in design for a residential building of this size in Bangkok, stating, “We understand that the utmost comfort, functionality, and exquisite taste of a residence must be designed correctly from the very beginning and in every dimension of the home, even the smallest details. If the entire design and construction are executed perfectly, this home will undoubtedly appreciate in value over the long term.”
He further stated, “We have also collaborated with one of the most renowned architectural design firms in the world, ‘Kohn Pedersen Fox’ (KPF), to closely oversee and consult on the building design. The buildings designed by KPF worldwide have become significant landmarks in various cities, which will help make Scope Langsuan a standout residential building in Bangkok.”
Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) is a New York-based design firm responsible for the design of the World Financial Centre, the iconic building in Shanghai, the International Commerce Centre, the tallest and most prominent skyscraper in Hong Kong, the Lotte World Tower, the tallest building in South Korea at 123 stories, and Hudson Yards in New York, the largest private real estate development in the United States.

Mr. Yongyuth stated, “Scope Langsuan is located on one of the most valuable freehold lands in Bangkok and is a convergence of the best location, being in the heart of the city, close to the best shopping and lifestyle destinations in Southeast Asia. Langsuan Road, which is home to the most important retail businesses in Bangkok, is just a 2-minute walk away. Residents can conveniently walk from Scope Langsuan to Central Chidlom, Central Embassy, Gaysorn Village, CentralWorld, Siam Paragon, and Siam Center, with a skywalk almost covering the entire distance. Access to the BTS system is just a 2-minute walk, 170 meters away, and it is also near Bangkok's largest public park, Lumphini Park, which is easily accessible for jogging.”
The Scope Langsuan project is scheduled for completion in early 2023, with prices starting at approximately 38 million baht up to 250 million baht, featuring 1-bedroom units of about 83 square meters, 2-bedroom units ranging from 153 to 162 square meters, and penthouses ranging from 419 to 443 square meters.
