Mr. Surath Leelataweewat, Deputy Managing Director of Kasikorn Bank stated that in 2018, Kasikorn Bank's home loan volume reached approximately 74 billion baht, with outstanding loans around 280 billion baht, reflecting a growth of about 12% compared to 2017. The high growth rate in Kasikorn Bank's home loans is attributed to marketing collaborations and sales channels with major real estate partners, as well as the bank's efforts to develop comprehensive home loan products that cater to customer needs both before and after sales. The bank also boasts a strong branch and sales team. Additionally, Kasikorn Bank has developed channels for customers seeking home loan services, refinancing, or assistance with home loans, allowing them to view initial details and request follow-up contact through the K PLUS app, as well as various other channels for convenience in obtaining information and using home loan services.

Furthermore, home loans are expected to continue expanding significantly in the first quarter of 2019, driven by new regulatory guidelines for home loans set to take effect in April 2019, which aim to enhance long-term economic stability. For the first quarter of 2019, the bank will continue to stimulate home loan volumes through two major campaigns that have received positive feedback since late last year, expanding opportunities for customers to access housing loans. These include refinancing home loans with highlights such as free mortgage registration fees up to 200,000 baht and special interest rates, as well as the Kasikorn Bank assistance home loan featuring a special interest rate offer of MRR-1% for the first two years, followed by MRR-0.5%, along with free collateral appraisal valued at 3,000 baht.

Mr. Surath further stated that the bank aims for a new loan volume of approximately 16 billion baht in the first quarter of this year and anticipates a total new loan volume of 66 billion baht for the year 2019.
