Mr. Wanchak Buranasiri, Chief Financial Officer of Sansiri Public Company Limited stated, “The year 2018 was the best year in Sansiri's 34-year history, or Sansiri Best Year Ever, due to comprehensive success, including the highest project launch value of over 65.2 billion baht from 25 projects, and record pre-sales of over 48.5 billion baht, a 25% increase from 2017's 38.5 billion baht. Additionally, foreign sales exceeded 14 billion baht, growing 51% from last year and tenfold from five years ago. Sansiri has maintained the top position in foreign sales for five consecutive years, resulting in a current backlog of over 63.5 billion baht, ensuring strong revenue recognition over the next three years.”

The factors that helped us achieve the Sansiri Best Year Ever in 2018 include positive customer responses across all types of housing and segments, particularly in the single-house segment, which grew by 34%, the townhouse segment grew by 77%, and the condominium segment grew by over 20%. Projects that exceeded expectations last year include Sansiri homes, which achieved over 75% of total project value in just six months, setting a new record for super-luxury single houses in Thailand. The launch of the XT lifestyle condominium for the new generation, with a total launch value of 21 billion baht across three projects, sold 12 billion baht within three months. Additionally, the new townhouse brand “Siri Place” saw sales triple compared to 2016. Meanwhile, sales from provincial markets were another success factor last year, with sales reaching 12 billion baht, accounting for 25% of total sales, growing 51% from the previous year.
Mr. Wanchak continued, “In 2019, Sansiri plans to launch 28 new projects worth over 46.6 billion baht, including 12 condominium projects worth over 22.4 billion baht, 9 single-house projects worth over 18.7 billion baht, and 7 townhouse projects worth 5.5 billion baht. The focus will be on launching mid-range (Medium Segment) and more affordable (Affordable Segment) projects, which will account for 96% of the total project launch value. The pre-sale target for this year is set at 36 billion baht, with a total transfer target of 32 billion baht, alongside a long-term goal of achieving over 160 billion baht in total pre-sales between 2019-2021.”
Mr. Uthai Uthaisangsuk, Chief Operating Officer of Sansiri Public Company Limited, stated, “The overall real estate market in 2019 is expected to continue growing, although there may be a slowdown in investment purchases by Thai customers. However, Sansiri believes that owner-occupied purchases will continue to grow at the same level as last year. The competition in pricing and project development among all operators this year will provide customers with more options when deciding to purchase real estate.
