The Board of Directors of Kasikorn Bank has resolved to appoint Mr. Ruangroj Poonpol as the Chairman of Kasikorn Business-Technology Group.

Mr. Ruangroj Poonpol holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Chulalongkorn University, a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University in the United States, a master's degree in international marketing from Thammasat University, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Tsinghua University in the People's Republic of China.

             He has experience in product and marketing, including Quantitative Analytics at Google headquarters, Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (DTAC), and Telenor. He was named Thailand’s Business Man of The Year 2016 by THE NATION newspaper and recognized as an Asia21 Young Leader 2017 by the Asia Society, founded by John D. Rockefeller III.

Additionally, he is a co-manager of the 500 TukTuks fund, a subsidiary of 500 Startups in the United States, and served as a fintech advisor to Mr. Bandhuh Limthongkul, Chairman of Kasikorn Bank, before taking on the role of Chairman of Kasikorn Business-Technology Group, the technology arm of Kasikorn Bank.
