Sansiri is reaffirming its leadership as the first Prop Tech company in Thailand by enhancing the Sansiri Home Service Application through the integration of AI voice interaction. This development is set to support the transition into a new era of voice command technology, allowing for immediate responses via both the Sansiri Home Service Application and Google Assistant. The company aims to develop various features that cater to smart home solutions, providing exclusive conveniences to Sansiri homeowners across the country, with plans to launch in 2020. Additionally, Sansiri is partnering with GDG Thailand to host the Actions on Google Hackathon, focusing on Smart Living on December 15-16.

Mr. Jirapat Chanchoetsak, Chief Technology Officer of Siri Ventures Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Sansiri and Siam Commercial Bank dedicated to comprehensive Prop Tech research and investment, stated that the company remains committed to advancing technology in real estate (Property Technology or Prop Tech) and living technology (Living Tech). Recently, they collaborated with ONIONSHACK, a startup specializing in AI-driven chat, voice, and image interactions, to upgrade AI capabilities on two main platforms: the Home Service Application, an exclusive mobile app for Sansiri residents, and Google Assistant, Google's smart assistant available on Android smartphones. The goal is to create a highly efficient AI voice assistant that can respond to commands and assist users in various tasks, enhancing the convenience of smart living.

"Voice command systems are gaining popularity in Thailand. We see a trend of increasing usage among consumers, and manufacturers are developing devices and technologies that support voice command systems. Siri Ventures believes that soon, using voice to interact with AI and control various tasks in the home will become a lifestyle for modern individuals. We are accelerating the development of AI that can understand Thai voice commands effectively, making conversations and commands with AI a reality beyond just movies," said Mr. Jirapat.

The voice command feature in Thai on the Home Service App includes four main service categories: Home Automation for controlling smart home devices like lights, Facility Booking for reserving common area services, Check Outstanding Balance for checking status and expenses like maintenance fees, and Home Care for reporting repairs and tracking repair status. Meanwhile, interacting with Sansiri's AI via voice on Google Assistant currently supports two main services: Check Outstanding Balance and Home Care. The company is working to enable Home Automation and Facility Booking commands on Google Assistant as well.

Mr. Jirapat further mentioned that the company is advancing the AI to learn human behaviors and understand users better. By 2020, the AI is expected to engage in more human-like conversations and responses, gradually improving in voice recognition, tone understanding, and remembering frequently used commands by residents to provide tailored interactions. Additionally, the company plans to introduce various features such as checking mailboxes, weather updates, email checks, phone number searches, messaging project management, and support for English and Chinese languages. The Google Assistant platform can also connect with external services for ordering products and food.

Currently, the Home Service App has reached over 20,000 Sansiri residents nationwide. In the future, the company believes that the user base will continue to grow, as Sansiri has approximately 80,000 to 100,000 residents across the country and is continuously developing new projects.

Mr. Jirapat added that on December 15-16, the company will collaborate with Google Developer Group Thailand (GDG Thailand) to host the Actions on Google Hackathon for the first time in Thailand at the AIS Design Centre (AIS D.C.) on the 5th floor of The Emporium shopping mall. One of the sub-themes will focus on Smart Living. The company hopes that this event will foster new ideas for developing technologies related to housing that can be integrated into Sansiri's services.

"The mission of Siri Ventures is to find new innovations for Sansiri residents, as well as to invest in innovations that enhance the ecosystem in the real estate business, elevating the overall living experience for Sansiri homeowners," Mr. Jirapat stated.
