Univentures Public Company Limited (UV) has revealed its overall business performance for the year 2018 (from October 1, 2017, to September 30, 2018), reporting total revenue of 20,994 million baht, representing a 16% increase compared to the same period in 2017. The company's net profit attributable to shareholders was 1,006 million baht. For 2019, the company aims for a revenue target exceeding 25,800 million baht and plans to launch over 30 new projects this year.
Mr. Worawart Srisuan, the Managing Director of Univentures Public Company Limited, discussed the company's business performance for 2018, stating that the total revenue was 20,994 million baht, with 80% of this revenue coming from the property development sector, specifically from residential sales amounting to 16,812 million baht. The rental and hotel business contributed 1,687 million baht, while other businesses (including zinc oxide) accounted for 2,494 million baht, resulting in a net profit of 1,006 million baht.
In 2018, the main revenue came from residential property sales, including houses and condominiums, totaling 14,053 million baht and 2,759 million baht, respectively. Additionally, the company has a backlog of sales amounting to 10,050 million baht, with 7,200 million baht from houses and 2,850 million baht from condominiums, which will be recognized as revenue in 2019, accounting for 45% of the revenue target for that year. In 2018, the company achieved sales of 14,053 million baht from 38 projects under the Land and Houses Group, and in 2019, plans to launch over 25 new horizontal projects valued at approximately 28,600 million baht. For condominiums, the company generated 2,759 million baht from 8 projects of Grand Unity Development Co., Ltd. (GRAND UNITY), with plans to introduce 5 new projects in 2019, valued at no less than 9,000 million baht.
Regarding the overall business direction and plans for 2019, the company aims for a primary revenue target exceeding 25,800 million baht, with approximately 83% of this revenue expected from property sales, including around 69% from houses and 13% from condominiums. Revenue from rental properties and hotels is projected to be about 7%, while other businesses (including zinc oxide) will contribute around 10%.
