Thailand Post Expands 'ePacket' Service to 5 More Countries, Supporting Thai Businesses with Affordable International Shipping

Mr. Wiboon Serichai Phorn, Customer Management Manager at Thailand Post Co., Ltd. (Thailand Post) announced that Thailand Post has partnered with postal services from various countries to launch the 'ePacket' service. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of international parcel delivery and provide tracking capabilities. The service has been available since early April 2018, initially covering 12 destination countries. Recently, it is set to expand to 5 more countries: Cambodia, the Philippines, Macau, Sri Lanka, and Germany, bringing the total to 17 countries. This expansion is designed to offer greater savings for users, primarily online merchants.
The service fee will be based on net weight, starting at 120 baht, allowing shipments of up to 2 kilograms. Delivery times range from 3 to 9 days, depending on the destination country. Additionally, Thailand Post is catering to online merchants who are eBay members by offering a 10 baht discount on each item shipped using the ePacket service through eBay SEAPaSS. There are also special rates for customers who spend over 30,000 baht per month. This promotion runs from now until December 31, 2018, at all post offices nationwide.
