During normal times, many people might not visit museums frequently. However, in the current situation, with students still on break and working adults engaging in Work From Home, it presents a great opportunity to seek entertainment while also gaining knowledge through online museum tours.

"Museum Siam" is a learning museum that continuously strives to adapt its presentation methods to align with the current environment and meet the lifestyle needs of its visitors. The impact of the COVID-19 situation has compelled Museum Siam to revise its learning strategies, incorporating technology as a primary tool to deliver learning experiences right to people's homes, continuing its vision of being a new type of museum with the concept of "Learning is closer than you think".

The museum invites everyone to explore exhibitions through VIRTUAL EXHIBITION, a 360-degree virtual exhibition, and online seminars via Live on various topics, with numerous activities planned from April to September 2020.

Online Activities

In April, the museum hosted the first online seminar, Museum In Focus, on the topic "Pests in Conservation Work".

In May, which is International Museum Day, the museum prepared online activities, inviting participants to discover the origins of International Museum Day through the knowledge repository, or for the younger generation interested in museum work, they can enroll in the Museum Academy Online course.

In June and July, everyone is invited to follow the historical Ratchadamnoen Road through discussions led by curators and seasoned volunteers, sharing stories about Ratchadamnoen. Additionally, those curious about whether art can truly benefit the elderly in galleries can tune in online.

In August and September, art enthusiasts are invited to learn online about the beauty of the 100-year-old Museum Siam building, showcasing Western architectural styles in Siam, along with fun activities on Thai Museum Day.

This marks the first learning museum in Thailand that has adapted to the situation, integrating technology to create a digital museum that provides enjoyable learning experiences through an Online Platform, ensuring that everyone can learn in a delightful and memorable way. This learning museum invites everyone to build a limitless learning community together.
