<\/span>     “Electric Train”<\/strong> is a public transportation system for urban dwellers that facilitates faster travel. Currently, the electric train routes have been expanded in various directions both in Bangkok and its suburbs. Today, <\/span>TerraBKK<\/strong><\/span> <\/span> would like to update the progress of all 5 electric train projects as follows:<\/h3>

<\/h3>

Dark Red Line (Bang Sue - Rangsit)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

                 <\/span>   This is a heavy rail suburban electric train system on an elevated track, covering a total distance of 41.3 kilometers. The system underwent a simulated train operation test on March 26, 2021. It will be available for free trial in July 2021 and is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2021 (around November)<\/strong> <\/h3>

Orange Line (Cultural Center - Min Buri)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

                <\/span>    This is a heavy rail transit system with underground tracks, similar to the current Blue MRT line. Construction is currently underway on the eastern section from the Cultural Center to Min Buri, covering a distance of 22.57 kilometers. There will be connections to the Blue Line (MRT) at the Cultural Center station and to the Yellow and Brown lines at the Lam Salee station. The latest progress is at 82.56%, and it is expected to be operational in 2024.<\/strong><\/h3>

Yellow Line (Ratchada - Pattanakarn - Samrong)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

                 <\/span>   This is a Straddle Monorail system on an elevated track, starting at the Ratchada-Ladprao intersection. It will connect with the Orange Line at the Lam Salee station, the Airport Rail Link at Hua Mak station, and the Green Line at Samrong station. The latest progress is at 79.6%, and it is expected to be operational in 2022.<\/strong><\/h3>

Pink Line (Krairaya - Min Buri)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

           <\/span>         This is a Straddle Monorail system on an elevated track, with connections to the Red Line at the Lak Si station, the Green Line at Wat Phra Si Mahathat station, the Gray Line at Wat Chachao station, and the Orange Line at Min Buri station. The latest progress is at 74.35%, and it is expected to be operational in 2022.<\/strong><\/h3>

Brown Line (Krairaya - Lam Salee)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

                 <\/span>   This is a Monorail system with an elevated track. The funding source for the construction of the Brown Line has been approved, with the Ministry of Finance considering suitable loan sources and the Budget Bureau allocating sufficient annual budget for the Mass Rapid Transit Authority (MRTA) to repay the loans. There are plans to conduct a bidding process for construction contractors by October 2021.<\/strong><\/h3>
