Which are the TOP 5 Provinces in Thailand?
Bangkok is the only province with a household monthly income of 45,707 Baht and a population density of 3,621 people per square kilometer, the highest in Thailand. Following is Pathum Thani (41,484 Baht per month and 740 people per square kilometer). Meanwhile, provinces with a population density of less than 1,000 people per square kilometer, such as Nonthaburi and Phuket, have an average household income of around 40,000 Baht per month. On the other hand, Samut Sakhon and Samut Prakan, which rank third and fourth in population density in Thailand, have an average household income ranging from 25,000 to 30,000 Baht per month.
What is the overview of each region?
Certainly, the Central Region has the highest statistics for both population density and average household monthly income in the country, as evidenced by the three provinces in the TOP 5 mentioned earlier: Bangkok, Pathum Thani, and Nonthaburi, all located in the Central Region.
Next is the Eastern Region, which has an average of about 149 people per square kilometer and 26,755 Baht per month. Chonburi has the highest population density in the region, but Chanthaburi wins for the highest household monthly income in the region.
Meanwhile, the Southern Region has an average household income of about 25,819 Baht per month, slightly higher than the Western Region, which has an average monthly income of 25,279 Baht, but the population in the South is twice as dense as in the West.
The Northeastern Region and Northern Region have average household incomes below 20,000 Baht per month, while the population density in the Northeast is significantly higher compared to the North.
