The Master of Science program in Real Estate Development Innovation (MIRED) at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University, has a significant mission of providing academic services and knowledge to both the community and the public. This program serves as a true powerhouse of wisdom in integrating various fields related to real estate.

The real estate sector is considered a crucial part of the country's economic system. Therefore, the government must establish various regulations to ensure that the real estate sector operates efficiently for the economic stability of the nation. For instance, on January 1, 2020, an important law related to the real estate sector and the general public will come into effect: the Land and Building Tax Act (Land and Building Tax Act). This act will cover various types of real estate, and many people still lack understanding and awareness of this law.

For this reason, the Master of Science program in Real Estate Development Innovation (MIRED) has organized a seminar project titled “Understanding and Coping with the Land and Building Tax Act 2019” to enhance public knowledge and understanding, promote the program, and strengthen the academic standing of the program, the faculty, and the university as a whole.

Seminar Schedule: December 8, 2019, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thammasat University Alumni Association 99 Soi Ngamduplee, Rama 4 Road, Thung Maha Mek, Sathorn District. The seminar will feature experienced speakers in real estate development, including Mr. Lertmongkol Waravej, along with faculty members from the program. Participants can attend the seminar free of charge.
