EQ (Emotional Quotient) refers to the ability to recognize and manage one's own emotions and those of others, also known as emotional intelligence. Generally, EQ consists of three key skills:

1. Awareness of Emotions - For example, if you are angry, you need to be aware of what is causing your anger.

2. Controlling Emotions to Manage and Solve Problems - When negative emotions arise, do not let them escalate or plunge you deeper, as this does not help resolve the issues at hand. Instead, try to regain emotional balance, listen to others' opinions, and be ready to explain your reasons with the goal of achieving successful outcomes.

3. Managing Your Own and Others' Emotions - Individuals with high EQ can anticipate various situations or effectively control sudden occurrences. This skill helps in building good relationships with those around them, making thoughtful decisions, and handling all kinds of situations.

Being aware of emotions is crucial and should not be overlooked. It is important to learn and understand oneself better, and to practice controlling emotions and emotional expressions regularly.
