Additional Announcement on Land Allocation February '61
The Central Land Allocation Committee has established policies for land allocation for residential and commercial purposes, with an additional announcement made on February 16, 2017. This announcement supplements the land allocation policy for residential and commercial purposes (Version 9) of 2016. TerraBKK has summarized the information from the Royal Gazette as follows:
Bangkok Metropolitan Area, Municipalities, Town Municipalities, Sub-district Municipalities, or Pattaya City
General Land Allocation (Land and Residential): For land parcels with no more than 32 plots and an area not exceeding 2 rai.
Land Allocation with Commercial Buildings: For land parcels with no more than 20 plots and an area not exceeding 2 rai.
Sub-district Administrative Organization Area
For land parcels with no more than 40 plots and an area for sale not exceeding 4 rai.
All 3 types of land to be allocated have additional exceptions as follows:
- No need to reserve land for public utilities such as parks, playgrounds, and sports fields, which was previously required to have at least 5% of the land area sold.
- The width of the access road must not be less than 8 meters, and the road surface (road width) must not be less than 6 meters.
- For land where the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority, Provincial Waterworks Authority, or local water supply cannot provide services, other water supply systems may be used, but this is subject to the consideration of the Land Allocation Committee.
Conditions The land allocation project must not be a continuation of multiple projects that together exceed the number of plots or area specified above.
