Update! New Shopping Malls You Must Visit
As the New Year approaches, let's take a break from stress and talk about shopping destinations. This December, we can expect to see new malls and shopping centers opening their doors. While some have quietly opened already, TerraBKK is here to provide you with all the details. If you're unsure where to go this New Year, be sure to check out these new shopping malls.
1. Central Plaza Mahachai
Recently launched, Central Plaza Mahachai is located on Rama 2 Road, opposite Porto Chino. With a spacious area of over 170,000 square meters, this shopping center combines retail with lifestyle in a theme called “Mahaanava Ship”. It highlights fresh seafood as its main attraction. Inside, the main tenant is Robinson, targeting middle-income customers, while the outdoor area features a market called “Samut Market,” showcasing local specialties from Mahachai.

2. Century The Movie Plaza Sukhumvit
Quietly opened, Century The Movie Plaza Sukhumvit is owned by the same company as the well-known Century at the Victory Monument. Its location is excellent, right at the foot of the BTS On Nut station. This mall aims to add vibrancy to the On Nut area, focusing primarily on Japanese-style shops. Famous restaurants and popular cosmetics stores like Matsumoto Kiyoshi have made their way here, transforming the old image of Century at the Victory Monument into a more convenient shopping experience for On Nut residents.

3. Porto Go Bang Pa-In
This one might not strictly be called a new mall, as it is a new Lifestyle Mall owned by the same company as Porto Chino. Familiar to those who have traveled south, this time it’s located in the northern direction, in Ayutthaya province near Bang Pa-In. The shops here mainly focus on dining options for travelers looking for a rest stop. If you plan to head north this New Year, don’t forget to stop by Porto Go Bang Pa-In, which many consider to be the most comprehensive rest area!

4. Robinson Lifestyle Center Kamphaeng Phet
Finally, we have the last new mall of the year, set to open on December 8, Robinson Lifestyle Center Kamphaeng Phet. This time, Robinson is introducing a new model as a Lifestyle Center, focusing on the concept of “EAT-SHOP-PLAY”. The layout has been redesigned to group products based on shopper interests, enhancing the shopping experience.

In addition to these four new malls, TerraBKK would like to provide a brief update on the closure of The Mall Ramkhamhaeng, which is currently undergoing a stock clearance sale. But don’t worry, The Mall is set to be revamped into a Mixed-Use Complex. We will keep you updated on what this new Mixed-Use complex will look like as soon as we have more information.
Lastly, if you haven’t made plans for the New Year and are looking for new shopping experiences, we encourage you to visit these four new malls and share your photos with TerraBKK! - TERRABKK
