Great Examples Close to Home

With several days off... let's go on a trip, starting with our neighbor... Jewel Changi Airport. I heard that the Singapore government is aware of our plans to expand Suvarnabhumi Phase 2, so they are speeding up this project (they have completed it while we are still in discussions). They began construction on December 5, 2014, and it opened on April 17, 2019; the construction cost was S$1.7 billion... enhancing the already excellent Changi Airport even further, especially with Universal Design for the elderly, disabled, children, and pregnant women, making it accessible and safe for everyone... During this Covid period, if AOT could improve Suvarnabhumi like this, it would be wonderful. Picture Credit: Sujitra.j

I highly recommend the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum

It's located at the National University of Singapore

...featuring large dinosaur skeletons, a variety of life in Southeast Asia, including plants, amphibians, mammals... importantly, it is wheelchair accessible everywhere, with creative media for the visually impaired and children to learn. Everyone can learn; it is truly a Universal design. During Covid... I hope to see significant improvements in museums in Thailand, which will serve as a foundation for nurturing talented students who will grow to become good politicians and businesspeople.

 

...if we don't have a solid educational infrastructure like this, how can we expect different outcomes???
