Today, TerraBKK will take you through the performance data for the full year of 2019, focusing on three key figures that reflect the overall picture of the 30 public real estate companies: total revenue, net profit, and net profit margin. It was found that the overall average for 2019 decreased compared to 2018. The details are as follows: Total Revenue of the Real Estate Sector in 2019 decreased by 2.1%

The 30 public companies generated a total revenue of approximately 350 billion baht in 2019, a slight decrease of 2.1% from 2018 (2018 = 358 billion baht). The top three companies with the highest total revenue in 2019 are PSH: Pruksa Holding Public Company Limited, LH: Land and Houses Public Company Limited, and SIRI: Sansiri Public Company Limited, all well-known major players in the market. Meanwhile, PF: Property Perfect Public Company Limited became the sixth highest revenue-generating company in the group, managing to increase its total revenue from the previous year due to the delivery of units from three new projects, including one project in Japan, and revenue from land sales amounting to over 2,499.89 million baht, despite a decrease in revenue from the sale of houses and land due to the LTV (Loan to Value) measures. Net Profit of the Real Estate Sector in 2019 decreased by 4.8%

Although LH: Land and Houses Public Company Limited ranked second in total revenue for 2019, it still held the number one position in net profit with figures in the tens of billions, being the only company in the real estate sector to do so. However, the company that saw its profit figures double from the previous year is NOBLE: Noble Development Public Company Limited, primarily due to increased profits from the sale of undeveloped land and the sale of assets to a real estate investment trust, as well as improved management of selling and administrative expenses. Meanwhile, the overall industry saw total net profit decrease to 47.7 billion baht from 50 billion baht in 2018. Net Profit Margin in 2019 averaged 15.9%

Although the overall real estate industry saw a decrease in net profit margin in 2019 to 7.07% (2018 = 8.41%), it was found that familiar major players maintained a strong level above 20%, such as LH: Land and Houses Public Company Limited, SPALI: Supalai Public Company Limited, QH: Quality Houses Public Company Limited, ORI: Origin Property Public Company Limited, and NOBLE: Noble Development Public Company Limited.
