Just mentioning these might make you hungry.

Therefore, it is not wrong to say that the Phra Nakhon area is a top-notch culinary oasis for Bangkok residents, filled with charm that cannot be found in other locations.

 

         2. The Largest and Most Traditional Trading Area in Bangkok

         If you are looking for the largest area for both wholesale and retail trade, it must be the Phra Nakhon area. This is the traditional economic zone of Bangkok, making the trading areas spread across several districts, unlike Platinum-Pratunam, which is concentrated in one location. In the Phra Nakhon area, there are large retail and wholesale trading districts that are destinations for many small vendors, including Bobae, Sampeng, Phahurat, Khlong Thom Plaza, Worachak, Suea Pa, Mega Plaza Saphan Lek, and Soho, a wholesale fashion market open 24 hours.

Each trading district has its unique product specialties, creating an economic zone with a long-standing cash flow. The clientele is not limited to just customers from Bangkok and its vicinity but also attracts customers from across the country.

         3. Close to Many Leading Educational Institutions, Medical Institutions, and Government Agencies

         This point seems to be something many people may not know about the Phra Nakhon area. TerraBKK has drawn a radius of about 3 km from the Democracy Monument and found that within this radius, there are 23 schools, universities, hospitals, and medical institutions. Among them are 12 schools and universities, including Thepsirin School, St. Gabriel's College, St. Francis Xavier Convent School, Yonok of Arc School, Satriwithaya School, Suankularb Wittayalai School, Vajiravudh College, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Dusit University, Silpakorn University Wang Tha Phra, and Thammasat University Tha Phra Chan.

There are also 11 hospitals and medical institutions, including Siriraj Hospital, Thonburi Hospital, Hua Chiew Hospital, Mission Hospital, Central Hospital, Samitivej Chinatown Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, Song Hospital, the Institute of Neurology, the Institute of Thai Traditional Medicine and Alternative Medicine, and the Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital, Navamindradhiraj University

Additionally, it is close to several large government institutions, such as the United Nations (UN), the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industry, and the Government Pharmaceutical Organization, which highlights the potential of the area as an interesting job market that many people may not know exists in the Phra Nakhon area.

         4. A Traditional Location with a Future, Connecting the City with the New Electric Train

         In addition to the Blue Line Electric Train from Hua Lamphong to Tha Phra, which is set to open in September 2019, the Phra Nakhon area also has plans for two additional electric train extensions. Although they have not yet been approved by the Cabinet, they are already included in the Bangkok mass transit development plan. The electric trains that will transform the Phra Nakhon area into a leading location in Bangkok include the Orange Line from Taling Chan to the Cultural Center, passing through many important points in Bangkok, such as Siriraj Hospital, Ratchadamnoen Klang Road, Lan Luang Road, Ratchathewi-Pratunam (Rajaprarop), and connecting with the Blue Line at the Cultural Center Station.

         Another electric train that will connect to the Phra Nakhon area is the Purple Line from Tao Poon to Rat Burana, passing through significant points such as the new parliament, Samsen Road, Phra Sumen Road, and then connecting with the Orange Line at Phan Fa Station (Ratchadamnoen Klang Road), passing through Wongwian Yai, along Suksawat Road, and ending at Khu Nai Station.

         The Orange Line from Taling Chan to the Cultural Center and the Purple Line from Tao Poon to Rat Burana will facilitate travel in and out of the Phra Nakhon area and serve as an interchange in the old city center of Ratchadamnoen Klang.

         5. A Location Where Condominiums Are Rarely Seen

         The last point is that there is hardly any condominium development in this area due to various limitations, including urban planning and other legal constraints, making the presence of condominiums in this area quite limited.
