Thai population statistics regarding population size in 2017 from the National Statistical Office to measure urbanization TerraBKK found that in 2017, the total population of Thailand was 66,413,979. When ranking the population size by province to measure urbanization, it includes large cities, regional centers, medium-sized cities, and small cities.

It was found that there is a correlation between urban size and election results. In regional centers, there are 20 provinces where votes were cast for the Thai Raksa Chart Party in 11 provinces, Palang Pracharath Party in 5 provinces, Democrat Party in 4 provinces, and Nakhon Ratchasima province, which had diverse election results with a total of 14 districts, divided into Palang Pracharath Party with 6 districts, Thai Raksa Chart Party with 4 districts, Bhumjaithai Party with 3 districts, and Chart Pattana Party with 1 district.

For medium-sized cities and small cities, the election results were diverse, with each party having a similar number of seats. In large cities, which only includes Bangkok, there are a total of 30 electoral districts where Palang Pracharath Party secured 14 districts, followed by Thai Raksa Chart Party and Future Forward Party, each with 8 districts.

Thai citizens from the same region often share similar opinions in this election. For instance, the overall satisfaction in the northern region is with the Thai Raksa Chart Party, while the lower northern region favors Palang Pracharath Party. In the northeastern region, the preference is for the Thai Raksa Chart Party and Bhumjaithai Party. In the south, voters prefer Democrat Party, Palang Pracharath Party, and Chart Pattana Party. In Bangkok, besides the two major parties like the Thai Raksa Chart Party and Palang Pracharath Party, there is also significant support for Future Forward Party, which has gained momentum not only in Bangkok but also in other provinces in the northern and eastern regions. --- TerraBKK
