One of the hottest women of this year, second only to the character Karaked from the series 'Bupphesanniwat', must be Sukwan Boolakul, the charming beauty from the Celeb Blog show on Praew magazine's YouTube channel. She has created a trend with #MustHave that has become popular all over the country. When people see her bright smile, many feel enchanted and can't help but wonder what makes her look so radiant and happy with life every day, to the point of envy. To unveil this secret, Sukwan shares her tips on seeing the world through rose-colored glasses.

“A happy person must start by accepting the reality of life, that we don’t have everything and we’re not good at everything. The image everyone sees of me today is the finished product, but in reality, before reaching this point, I wasn’t born talented or skilled. I was just an average kid, sometimes failing and having to retake classes. When I first became a business news reporter, I didn’t just start from zero; I started from a negative hundred. Fortunately, I accepted that I didn’t know much and worked hard to develop myself from negative to zero, fully committed to gaining the knowledge and skills necessary for my job.”

The word “failure” is something that many see as a perfect woman like Sukwan often encounters, but she doesn’t view it as a big deal.

“How many people in this world succeed at everything? The reality of life is like this. My life is no different from anyone else’s; I’m an ordinary person with both things I can do and things I can’t. There are days of joy and sorrow. Not everything turns out as hoped. We just have to do our best with what’s in our hands or our responsibilities. If we do that, we don’t need to worry about success or failure because even if we look back 10 or 20 years from now, we won’t regret it. Because even if we can do better today than we did back then, we are still ready to accept the consequences of our actions because at that time, we couldn’t have done better.”

As someone who has thrived in the media industry and is known as a famous news presenter, Sukwan also takes this opportunity to reflect on the media in the digital age interestingly: “Everything is a cycle of rise and fall. Nothing can remain unchanged. Today, the media is undergoing a full transformation after being discussed for over a decade. The role of the media is to adapt. It would be strange if we just sat and reminisced about the old days, hoping they would return. It’s true that thinking about the past as good memories isn’t wrong, but we must accept that the world has changed and there’s no way to turn back. Even if we could, it wouldn’t be anytime soon, and it would require some significant event.”

When asked what kind of digital journalist Sukwan would be today if she were still in that role, she said, “The heart of a journalist is that we have a process for filtering information to verify before presenting the news. Therefore, even if the world changes, we may need to adjust our working methods, but the essence of being a good journalist never changes. We still need to filter information before presenting the news because we cannot rely on a single source and declare it as definitive news.” Sukwan concluded.
