A New School Term: Heart at Ease with 3 Innovative Solutions for Easy Learning in the New Normal Era
The vibrant atmosphere of a new school term returns, accompanied by the "new normal" after overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic. Continuous vigilance is still necessary, prompting adjustments in learning formats, teaching methods, and various activities. The National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) (NIA)<\/span> has introduced three new innovations to facilitate learning, ensuring safety and measures to provide reassurance for everyone to return to school in this "New Normal" era.<\/span>

Online Blended Learning for Schools or Online Blended Learning Innovation for Schools
This innovation allows children to study anytime and anywhere, developed by Learn Education Co., Ltd.. It introduces technology to enhance learning and teaching as the COVID-19 situation begins to ease, enabling students to learn at their convenience and design their own activities.
The application, named “Learn Anywhere”, builds on the "Online Blended Learning for Schools" system, allowing children to learn through the app in core subjects like science and mathematics, specifically for students in grades 5 to 9.
Students must register to obtain a password and username. Once they receive their credentials, they can access online classes, with lessons organized according to the school's curriculum.
The system has been piloted in five schools, where students showed significant interest and usage. The app's special feature is that it simplifies online learning, alleviating concerns about falling behind in class activities, as students can review lessons at any time.

Kids Up Platform: Comprehensive Student Safety Management System
Kids Up Platform was developed to address the regular challenges of picking up children from school, often encountering traffic congestion and safety concerns as children wait for their parents, which poses accident risks.
Thus, a platform was created to manage the pick-up and drop-off of children through a mobile app that parents can use immediately after registering with their phone number. The company installs a system that displays and notifies students of how many minutes until their parents arrive via television or LED screens.
The app is designed to be more user-friendly than foreign traffic management systems at schools and is highly accurate regarding timing, as it tracks travel time using Google Maps. Therefore, the arrival time reported by parents is usually accurate, with a possible variance of no more than 5 minutes.
“In the future, we will develop functions for parents who do not pick up their children themselves, as well as for school transport services or integration with ride-hailing apps. Additionally, we will enhance the system to accommodate parents who do not use smartphones, ensuring accessibility to the application for all. I believe that educational innovations and platforms will play a significant role in the future, necessitating continuous adaptation and the creation of new functions to meet changing needs, with technology accessible to all groups,”

School Management System 4.0 or 4.0 School Management Project
This platform helps schools transition into the 4.0 era through digital management. Jubjang Corporation Co., Ltd. has developed a 4.0 school management system to enhance the organization of internal school tasks, such as teachers' schedules, students' timetables, attendance systems, behavior score tracking, homework notifications, leave management, and teacher administration systems, including management reports and academic performance reports.
"All data will be reported through the application and website, accessible via mobile without the need for additional equipment. The system operates in real-time, allowing schools to continuously update the status of teachers and students using securely stored cloud-based data."
The company has piloted the system in over 300 schools, finding that internal management has become more systematic. Schools can categorize documents and maintain comprehensive and clear databases for each student, significantly reducing teachers' workloads by up to 90%.
It also allows schools to understand student behavior and plan accordingly to address or modify student behavior in both the short and long term. Despite being a detailed and complex management system, it is designed for ease of use, speed, and visual appeal, making it suitable for teachers. Besides managing internal school data, it connects parents, schools, and students, reducing teachers' workloads and providing reassurance to parents.
As the COVID-19 pandemic situation begins to ease, we will start to see new things or new ways emerging, especially in educational innovations. Moving forward, the education system, including schools, teachers, and students, will increasingly adopt technology. These developments will lead to a rise in educational innovations, becoming essential tools to drive the Thai education system forward.
