Colon Cancer

Cancer is a serious illness that has claimed many lives. When you don't get enough sleep, you wake up late, and waking up late means you have no time to do beneficial activities for yourself, such as exercising or eating healthy food (often resorting to quick meals, even though breakfast is the most important meal of the day). This can lead to issues with your "intestines," resulting in inflammation and eventually colon cancer.

Diabetes

When a person has diabetes and does not get enough rest, their blood glucose levels can rise rapidly, along with increased insulin levels.

Dysfunctional Body Systems

Whether it’s bloating, indigestion, irregular bowel movements, occasional diarrhea, or sudden constipation, fatigue can hinder proper digestion.

Reduced Sexual Performance

Lack of sleep and insomnia can lower testosterone levels, which in turn reduces sexual desire. Medical examinations show that decreased sexual performance is partly due to insufficient or poor-quality sleep.

Chronic Insomnia

Some people experience insomnia and may take about an hour or more to fall asleep, or they might wake up in the middle of the night and find it impossible to sleep again. This can also lead to frequent bathroom trips throughout the night as the body absorbs too much water. If you experience these symptoms for more than a month, it is considered chronic insomnia.

Humans need at least 8 hours of sleep for their bodies to function properly. The period between 10 PM and 2 AM is crucial for the body to repair itself. It’s best to avoid staying up late, as it not only harms your health but also disrupts the following morning.
